A dual channel measurement system applied in laser spectroscopy for direct measurement of peak power of short light pulses is reported. The linearities and the frequency responses for both channels are given, and the experimental results indicate that 1% of amplification or absorption in peak power of 10 ns ligjht pulse (FWHM) from the optical medium can be identified by this system.

In this paper, we introduce an advanced method of myocardium punching by laser beam. The experimental results were given on live aninalg in acute phase under the room temperature conditions by 100 watt quasi-CW CO2 laser. The experimental results demonstrate that laser punching in myocardium can rebuild myocardial microciroulation.

Based on the dual-rail logic, a cascadable parallel binary logic gate was, proposed. All 16 binary logic operations can be implemented by this gate which can be programmed by halfwave phase retard of polarization. The electrooptical effect is proposed to program the logic function in real time and the experimental results are also presented.

Reflecting holographic storages with a read-out efficiency of up to 60% are obtained in Mn doped KNSBN crystal by using He-Ne laser beams of uW powers. It is found theoretically and experimentally that high road-out efficiency can be realized with a weak object beam and a stong reference beam in the conditions of our experiments. The ratios of eletrooptical tensor elements of the crystal are estimated within the range of the constant coupling factor.

We report a thick-film Pt resistor trimmed by an aeousto-optic Q-switched Nd:YAG laser and analyse the 1 laser parameters related with the trimming quality parameters of the film. Some problems with respect to laser-trimmed heat sensitive resistor are discussed.

Acousto-optie Q-switching of a homemade MQW-LDA pumped Nd:YLF laser has been xealized. A pulse width of 70 ns, energy of 1 μJ at 100 Hz repetition rate have been obtained. The fluctuation of profile is less than 1%.

An unstable resonator Nd:YAG laser with variable reflectivity coupler is developed. The relations between the laser characteristics and the unstable resonator parameters with a variable reflectivity coupler are described.

Using optimization method of dynamic parameters, operation behavior of highly table CPM femtosecond laser is obtained. The laser output is 43 fs average pulsewidths with a central wavelength at 624 nm, average power of 20 mW, unstability of pulsewidths of +3.3% and unstability of frequencies of less than 10-6.

A simplified kinetics model for copper vapor laser amplifiers is described. The gain property, time synchronized characteristics, output power dependence of loss coefficient and the influence of time-delay on pulse distortion values for the amplifier are ootained with numerical simulation. Calculated results are in approximate agreement with the experimental ones.

Pumped by 514.5nm Ar ion laser, emission and superfluorescenoe at 1560 nm of Er-doped silica fiber were obtained. The maximum output of fiber laser is 5.4mW, slope efficiency 9.8%. 1.6 mW output was obtained in superfluoreacenoe operation, and the narrowing of fluorescence spectra was also observed.
