Low doses of He-Ne laser irradiation is able to increase the fructolysis, respiration superweak luminescece and 32Pi uptake of spermatozoa, whereas high doses of laser irradiation shows no signficant effect on the respiration. Laser irradiation eauseschangeof Ca++ and Zn++ concentration in seminal plasm.

    A pseudocolor encoding method for rainbow holography is introduced using three-slit area partition and two-step exposure. Based on the principle of three basic color composition, the ralation of interval between slits with the color-control in recording H2 is discussed and the viewing field can be enlarged with multi pleref erence laser beams.

    The temperature effect of photoacoustic speetroseopy in the liquid has been studied. A photoaooustic peak in liquid water and aqueous solution under certain temperature range has been discovered. It shows that the photoaeoustic sensitivity and waveform change with the temperature. Dependence of the molecular relaxtion on thermophysical properties of the solution has been studied.

    Deposition of metallic nickel on silicon substrate by laser-enhanced electroless plating technique is reported for the first time. The dependence of deposition rate on other experimental parameters is studied and the firgures of deposited spots are analyzed and discussed.

    Optical spectral matching (OSM) of LD pumped Nd:YAG lasers, such as OSM method, OSM efficiency, OSM chirp phenomenon are studied experimentally. The changes of LD spectrum with temperarure, injection current and time and the influence of the changes on OSM efficiency are investigated.

    The competition between transitions 3s2-3p4 and 3s2-3p2 in a He-Ne laser is analysed quantitatively by rate equation, for two cases of the absorption cell filled with pure methane and with mixture of methane and air respetively. The condition for satisfying the two wavelength oscillation is obtained. The calculated results of the relative output power and the region of the two wavelength oscillation are in rather good agreement with experiments. A new structure is designed which increases the efficiency by more than 70%.

    The collision-induced spectra of C1∏u→X1∑q+ transition for 39K2 was obtained from 441.56nm line of CW He-Cd+ laser. The analysis of spectra showed that the collision induced transitions from C1∏u(ν'=0, J'=53)were P(△J=+2), R(△J=+2), Q(△J=+1). The calculated wave-numbers of collision-induced spectra were in agreement with the experimental values. The intensity ratio of collision-induced satellite lines and LIF parent lines versus buffer gas pressure, temperature of sample cell were studied andthe physical interpretation was given.

    Experimental results of KTP OPO pumped by the second harmonic of a Nd: YAG laser are reported, output in the range of 1.46-1.78μm of SRO is obtained experimentally, and the maximum output energy is 15 mJ/pulse, the maximum quantum conversion efficiency is 14%.

    Two lasers with different wavelengths-the argon laser and CO2 laser have been used for laser crystallization of a-Si SOI. Using the argon laser we have a direct heating laser crystallization, while for CO2 laser we have an indirect heating laser crystallization. The crystallization mechanisms for both cases are different and different topographies are obtained.

    It is proved that there exists π/2 phase difference between the transmitted beam and the diffracted (or reflected) beam of one incident wave when they leave a thick grating (or another beam splitter). It is the phase difference that makes energy coupling between input-beam possible when there is the phase shift between phase grating and the inter ference pattern of the incident wave in the photorefractive crystal, and the diffraction efficiency of phase grating and modulation amplitude of photorefractive index are calculated based on the theory.
