New technologies and products exhibited by the world's major panel manufacturers at the 2019 International Display Week were introduced,where flexible display and vehicle display were the most popular topics. New display technics have made great progress on image quality and cost control. It is promising to combine display technics and intellectual technologies to explore many more application areas.

    Based on the principle and structure of Streak Tube Image Lidar (STIL), miniaturization and efficient transmission of input and output optical system for the streak tube detector were designed. Considering the Characteristics of the lidar, the peak response wavelength of streak tube was optimized. The electro-optical and deflection systems were designed for high-resolution, and the typical test values of performance parameters of streak tube were provided. Electronic control system comprised of gating supply, sweeping supply, and high precision synchronous control circuit was developed, and the typical test values were provided. It was shown for the whole size of streak tube detector, performance parameters and electrical interface. The outdoor lidar experiment was carried out on the detector, through which clear grayscale images and 3D images were obtained to prove the feasibility and wide application prospect of STIL.

    According to the temperature-time curves of Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) module and the heater with different distance between LCD and heater (d), and with various pressures (p) respectively, the heat transfer mechanism based on LCD module was founded, showing contribution rate changes of heat conduction, heat covection and heat radiation during different periods of being heated. Factors affecting the efficiency of heat utilization for LCD modules were analyzed. Furthermore, solutions of water vapor fault for LCD modules during the heating process at low temperature were discussed.

    According to the basic characteristics of LED chip image composition and gray scale inhomogeneity, a new local adaptive threshold algorithm was proposed for the segmentation of the LED grain. In the design of the threshold, characteristics of the gray level inhomogeneity of the image area and the contrast of the different points to the center point were considered.A regional contrast ratio is designed to represent this characteristic.The adaptive threshold adjustment was implemented in combination with both local mean and regional center contrast to identify the exact location of the LED grain.At the same time, in order to eliminate the unqualified LED grain and noise interference,the image morphology method based on corrosion and expansion operation was applied to filter the segmented images. The number of effective LED grain was determined by the LED chip size.The experimental results show that the algorithm has achieved good results in terms of grain counting efficiency and accuracy.

    A novel pseudo-random preamble aided timing estimation via arc-tangent operation for CO-OFDM was proposed to tackle with the problems of lower SNR and more synchro errors under the context of transmission dispersion existing in traditional algorithm. The Awoseyila's algorithm could be optimized via the proposed method. Moreover, with using the line of ES-CAZAC preamble for reference, the arc-tangent pseudo-random preamble was proposed. Simulations were showed that the proposed method had much lower estimation error than traditional methods.

    4-primary color displays were studied in LCD. In order to get the white balance, maximum brightness and maximum color gamut, the area ratio of four primary colors could be optimized. Finally, MPC(muti-primary color) display technologies could give us many more benefits and possibilities for future applications.

    According to the characteristics of green and high brightness OLED-on-silicon display, the brightness adjustment circuit was studied to meet the application requirements of high and low temperature environments and wide range brightness. The 2.4 cm green and high bright OLED-on-silicon display was selected as the display module, and a wide range brightness adjustment circuit with temperature-brightness compensation was designed. The brightness curve was optimized to meet the application requirements of brightness consistency at high and low temperature environments. Finally, the photoelectric test was carried out to verify the effectiveness of design.

    Through measuring the airborne target location parameters such as azimuth angle, pitching angle and distance by the ground single station, this paper focused on the study of the principle and mathematical model of velocity measurement, simulation and error analysis. A method of velocity measurement for airborne target was put forward based on the data from the ground single station, which emphatically analyses the effect of distance, ranging accuracy, angle accuracy, flight altitude and invasion angle to the velocity measurement. The simulation results showed the velocity measurement error increased with increasing of the distance and flight altitude of target. In the same measurement condition of the same distance and flight altitude, the measurement error was the minimum at 0° and 90° of invasion angle, and the maximum error in about 30°~70° of invasion angle. After the field test verification, the velocity measurement error of an aircraft was 3%~16% at the distance of 2 km~22 km.

    To meet the testing demands of LCD modules of multiple sizes, a design of video signal generator based on Zynq-7000 series platform was proposed. By using the advantages of micro processor and FPGA on Zynq in embedded system developing, this system on chip realizes functions such as multi-resolution real-time switching, customized video sequence generating, man-machine interface with touch function and so on.

    The white brightness, contrast ratio, and chromaticity (red, green, blue, white) in each display area were measured according to the surface testing standards of IEC TS 62715-5-2. The characteristics of the white brightness, contrast ratio, chromaticity (red, green, blue, white) in each display area at different viewing angle were studied. We found that the white brightness, contrast ratio changed obviously when viewing angle changed which cannot be used in military special display for the time being. But the chromaticity (red, green, blue, white) almost unchanged which can be used in military special display.If the reinforced curved display devices want to be applied in military field, the change of white brightness and contrast ratio should be drastically reduced with viewing angles.

    The factors of vehicle LCD high temperature crosstalk in reliability test were studied. It was found that the bigger the N+ step remain of TFT channel was, the worse the high temperature crosstalk became. The N+ step remain could be improved by increasing ashing time of N+ etch process. Thickness of gate insulator would also affect the crosstalk. The DOE experiments show that the significant factors affecting reliability crosstalk are N + step remain of TFT channel and thickness of gate insulator.

    249 cm super hi -vision 8K panel has been developed with IGZO process. The panel structure was 1G1D with single side Source Driver which was applied on split data line. An effective driving method was adopted to overcome the problem of shortening charging time(3.7 μs) based on 249 cm 8K resolution panel. Cu metal was used to get the lowest impedance. The panel has super display performance.

    One product with sensor lines was studied. To comparisons with other incell products without sensor lines formation according to series of experiments, the formation mechanism of sensor lines and relevant solutions were found. The experiment results showed that those solutions could solve effectively the sensor line issue.
