The effect of temperature and argon rare gas pressure on internal photon conversion efficiency (η) in the strontium atomic resonance filter (Sr ARF) has been studied in detail. It is demonstrated that the η is augmented as Ar pressure increased, and an optimal value exists during the variation of temperature.
