Four lasing dyes in the blue green region were synthesised.The spectra and lasing properties of these dyes were determined. Two of them containing trifluoromethyl group have wide laser turning ranges (470～540 nm and 456～516 nm) and show high lasing efficiencies (41.4% and 26.6%) in a YAG laser pumped experiment.
