Design of Triple-band Bandpass Filter Based on Fan-shaped Substrate Integrated Waveguide
In this paper, a 60° fan-shaped substrate integrated waveguide resonator is proposed, and then a row of metal vias are loaded into the structure to perturb its TM110, TM210 and TM120 modes. Finally, a compact triple-band bandpass filter based on the 60° fan-shaped substrate integrated waveguide resonator is designed by using the disturbed field mode. The frequency selection characteristic of the filter is improved by introducing a complementary split-ring resonators and source-load coupling structure. The center frequencies of the three passbands are 5.61 GHz, 7.41 GHz, and 8.77 GHz respectively, and the 3 dB bandwidths are 148 MHz, 298 MHz, and 347 MHz respectively. The measured results of the filter are in good agreement with that of the simulation.
