    A mobile differential absorption lidar (DIAL) system,which is fully controlled by a microcomputer, has been constructed and applied in routine monitoring of atmospheric pollution such as SO2 etc. Examples of measurements of SO2 in Hefei and Beijing are given and results are discussed.
