To analyze the photometric characteristics of medium and high apogee satellites based on light reflection model, visual band time series photometry of satellites are employed for studying their physical properties. A sample of satellites in different shape, technical status and stabilization is composed. The accurate time series observations and distance correction method, phase angle calculation method are presented. First,mirror-reflection and diffuse of sunlight on spherical bodies and more complicated shapes are observed and analyzed. Then, experimental results showed that time series photometric light curve can reveal satellite′s physical characteristics, such as shape, stabilization and health status. It can provide the criteria to determine the technical status and the evolvement of satellite.
