Improvement of resolution for ultrasonic image based on wavelet image fusion

    Several kinds of experiments by proposed methods is carried out based on combining interpolation and wavelet image fusion to improve the resolution of ultrasonic images,especially for transverse resolution.The experimental results show that it is feasible for improving the resolution of ultrasound image to determine image by comparing the region energy.The wavelet decomposition is used to decompose the interpolated images to the low frequency part and the high frequency part,then,the low frequency part is processed with the method of average,and the high frequency part with the fusion method of the largest region energy,which obtains better effect on improving the resolution of ultrasonic images.
