Design of Ultraviolet System for Hemispherical Annular Panoramic Imaging

    An ultraviolet optical system based on hemispherical circular panoramic imaging is described. From the perspective of the demand for large field of view, a circular imaging system is designed. The system can realize the demand of imaging coverage in 180° (H)×40°(V) airspace, which is suitable to ultraviolet imaging. Coated foldback design is used in the first lens in order to reduce aberration for less system material at ultraviolet, which expands the receiving range of the field of view and reduces the number of lens. The system has small volume, wide coverage area and high imaging quality, and the acquisition of ultraviolet image in circular large field of view is realized effectively.
