Design and Implementation of Electro-optical Tracking and Pointing Turntable Control System
The design and implementation of an electro-optical tracking and pointing turntable control system is introduced. Based on the traditional PID control algorithm and the attenuation of high frequency signal by the lag link, the position loop is optimized. In the small error range, PI and double lag link series correction is used. Simulation results show that the proposed control algorithm improves the bandwidth, stability and tracking accuracy of the system. And the design is applied to an electro-optical tracking and pointing turntable and the tracking accuracy is within 20″ (RMS).
