Airplane system configuration management must run through the whole life cycle of model development. Through the research on the intent of airplane system configuration management,and based on the situation and the problems existed in current configuration management,a practical and effective 4D model is established for whole-life-cycle airplane system configuration management. The standardized,systematized and information-based management of airplane system in the whole life cycle is realized by using the integrated management platform.
