Onboard calibration accuracy of HJ-1B Satellite thermal infrared channel directly affects the quantitative application of remote sensing data. The response differences of each detector were ignored by the previous onboard calibration methods which focused on the whole channel. The look-up table, half-width and moments methods are used to calculate each detector’s calibration coefficients of HJ-1B thermal infrared channel based on the blackbody data transferred on Sep. 14th, 2009. The results show that the deviation is about 2 DN when the detectors scanning the adaptive blackbody, which bring errors from 0.28% to 0.45%. The 9th and 10th detectors have larger deviation than the others.
