    Conclusions

The roughness measurement model based on the light section method can automatically process images and calculate roughness values with the advantages of low cost and high efficiency. The measurement errors are less than those of the stylus method. The average error of the seam-driven stitching image method is reduced by 1.42%, especially for the machined workpiece with large irregularity spacing, which improves the sampling length and measurement accuracy of the traditional light section method.
