Measurement of Optical Fiber Temperature Sensing Based on Coherent Optical Time Domain Reflectometry
The distributed optical fiber sensing technology based on coherent optical timedomain reflectometer (COTDR) is researched. The measurement mechanism of distributed temperature sensing techniques based on COTDR is analyzed. Simulation model is established and sensing system performance is analyzed in simulation according to the composition and principles of sensing system. Finally, a temperature resolution of 0.01 ℃ and a spatial resolution of 1 m are achieved by the MATLAB simulation.
