Atmospheric effects including atmosphere absorption, scattering and turbulence in the process of laser ranging are studied, and atmospheric propagation characteristics of common 1.06 [EQUATION]m medium-range or short-range laser ranging close to ground are analyzed. It provides reference for design and application of laser rangefinders.
