Wiener Based Nonuniformity Correction Algorithm for IRFPA

    Using the space relativity and the time relativity of infrared image fully,a Wiener based nonuniformity correction algorithm for IRFPA was proposed. Then the unbiased estimation of radiation signal can be achieved. The filter's parameters were estimated by first-and second-order statistics in timedomain and average in space-domain. As compared with recent typical algorithm,this algorithm has faster rapidity of convergence and higher precision of correction. The theoretical analysis and the experiment with real infrared data show that the proposed algorithm has advantage over others.
