The method of simulated test of pulse laser rangefinder uses LED (or LD) to simulate object to test pulse laser rangefinder (or ranging equipment). The test system receives a laser beam generated by rangefinder and starts a precision time delay. Then it feeds back an (one to three) "object pulses" to the rangefinder tested and begins another time delay (twice) at the moment of the timing ends. Whether the rangefinder works normally by observing the display of the rangefinder and the laser energy the rangefinder emitted at the same time is measured. By this method, the online test of the pulse laser rangefinder becomes possible.
