Study of the performance of a hybrid TEA CO2 laser
The operating characteristics of a hybrid TEA CO2 laser are analysed based on a numerical model. We have found the possibility of single longitudinal mode oscillation in a low-pressure CW CO2 tube operating below the lasing threshold. The results have been borne out by experiments.
