Multiuser MIMO Indoor Visible Light Communication System Based on BD Precoding Algorithm
A precoding multiuser MIMO model was proposed for the multiuser indoor visible light communication system. The multiuser interference was eliminated by data preprocessing in transmitter, leading to the reduction of complexity and power consumption of terminals in the VLC system. Based on a 4×[2, 2] indoor MUMIMO VLC system, the limitation of block diagonalization precoding algorithm in VLC system was figured out. The corresponding solution by utilizing receivers with different field of view was analyzed. The impact of the terminals′ location to BER and SNR performances of the proposed system was also investigated. Based on the numerical results of the proposed indoor VLC system, the terminals can achieve 100 Mb/s at a BER of 10-6 in the most indoor area when single LED chip′s power is 10 mW.
