Fiber-optic guidance technology is one branch of precision guidance technologies which is in a flourishing development. The technical characters and basic principle of fiberoptic image guidance system are introduced. The key techniques of the system are discussed emphatically, such as, imaging seeker, fiberoptic bidirectional transmitting system and image tracker etc. An actual fiberoptic guidance system is cited. Furthermore, the application direction and development of fiberoptic image guidance techniques are analyzed.
