Optical Fiber Interconnection Network in Massively Parallel Processor Arrays
The principle and architecture of a fiber optical interconnection network with64 × 64 I/O channels and its implementing means are presented. The network is appliedto interconnect the two parallel processor arraies, and can be recon figured programablly. The advantages and practicability of optical interconnection have been shown by theexperimental results.
