Influence of high-order effect on quasi-soliton propagation
Considering the influence of high-order dispersion and high-order nonlinearity on quasi-soliton transmission, the effects of third-order dispersion,self-steepening and ISRS are investigated by numerical simulation. The result indicates that among these three effects, the influence of the ISRS effect on quasi-soliton transmission in the actual fiber is primary. Under the influences of these effects, the width of quasi-soliton broadens, the peak value of the pulse descends and the shape of the pulse cannot keep as the original shape.
