Technology of Target Position Information Field Locating

    A new location conception of Position Observing Information Tolerance Synthesize (POINTS) is presented in this paper.The proposed location conception regards that the passive or active location problem is to study how to obtain the location of the targets through making full use of the priori information and observation data or information obtained by the observation parameters related to the target location.All of this information constitutes the information field about the target location.We can build up a more general concept of positioning model starting from the concept in order to solve the location problem under the condition of unknown number of target and unclear relationship between target and observation,which the existing positioning theory fails to solve.In this paper,the conception of POINTS is presented,and the calculation methods of several classical passive location problems,including space observation to ground emitters with repeat measurement of two dimensional angle measurement,multiple observers for the ground emitters with orientation measurement only,space multiple observers for multiple ground emitters with DTOA measurements,are described in details.Simulation results show that this location method has the advantages of getting target quantity and multiple targets position at the same time.
