Accuracy analysis of flexible wheel in frictional transmission with great speed ratio

    In order to eliminate the deformation and improve transmission precision,the simulation method for deformation of flexible wheel is researched under actual situation.Under the condition of the load torque of great speed ratio frictional transmission in 2 N·m and the transmission ratio in 200,the flexible wheel is modeled with elastic mechanics theory and finite element method,and its different amounts of deformation caused by different loads are analyzed by ANSYS software.A device for testing deformation of flexible wheel is designed to use for an actual measurement and the angle amounts of deformation by different loads are tested with a 0.2″ electronic leveler.The tested results indicate that the difference between the theoretical values and pratical one is about 1.85″ when the load is 0.88 N·m,which shows that the experimental results are coincident with that analysed by elasticity and FEM.
