Quantum key error correction method based on parity check polar code

    To enhance the error correction performance of quantum key distribution (QKD), a quantum key error correction method based on parity check polar codes is proposed. This method introduces parity check polar codes into the key error correction process and optimizes the parity check encoding strategy. It uses the parity check information generated by key polar encoding to complete the key error correction. The simulation results show that compared with the existing polar code-based key error correction method, this method can achieve higher error correction efficiency at the same quantum bit error rate, when the actual QKD experiment's quantum bit error rate is 0.010 48, its error correction efficiency reaches 1.34, and the secure coding rate can reach 1 319 b/s.
