Numerical simulation of photorefractive spatial soliton propagation in optically induced crystal
The nonlinear Schr?dinger(NLS)equation described the spatial solitons of refraction photo-electronic crystal is given. The characteristics of photorefractive spatial soltons are investigated by using the split-step Fourier transformation. Numerical results show that the transmission light beam losses the property of spatial soliton when the Kerr effect is neglected. Spatial soliton may be deformed along with the increase of extra light intensity when Kerr effect compares with modulation light intensity. Spatial soliton propagates steadily and indeformedly when Kerr effect changes very strong, and it possesses the characteristics of ideal information carrier.
