Temperature Effects on the Screening Spatial Solitons in Two-Photon Photorefractive Media
The characteristic of screening spatial solitons in two-photon photorefractive media is influenced by media temperature. The light and dark screening spatial soliton solutions derived from the evolution equation of spatial solitions are temperature-dependent. The intensity profile and the full width at half maximum (FWHM) of screening spatial solitons in two-photon photorefractive media are strongly influenced by the media temperature in the room temperature range. By raising the media temperature, the screening spatial solitons with low intensity are formed, and moreover, the light and dark screening spatial solitons with narrow FWHM are formed under the high light intensity case, and the light and dark screening spatial solitons with wider FWHM are formed under the low light intensity case. The self-deflection of bright screening spatial solitons in crystals strongly depends on the temperature, and the spatial shift of the beam center and the deflection angle all increase with the dropping of the temperature.
