Research on Impact of Atmospheric Transmission on Infrared Seeker Performance
At the time of detecting targets, an infrared seeker mainly depends on infrared radiation differences between targets and backgrounds during atmospheric transmission. The key tactical and technology parameters such as the maximum capturing distance detected by the infrared seeker are influenced by different factors during the process, for instance, the maximum capturing distance may be decreased for different visibility and temperature under special environments, the captured targets are imaged unclear, and it is difficult to detect small targets at normal distance. According to the variation trend of different factors on infrared transmission, the impact on key tactical and technology parameters from atmosphere transmission is analyzed. Under the condition of deciding the impact and the obtained tactical and technology parameters through experiments, the variation of main factors on the parameters is analyzed and built, which provides technique support for the following experiments.
