Relation between composition of molten salts and parameters of waveguides in ion migration technique
Multimode waveguides in glass are fabricated by ion migration technique in AgNO3 +NaNO3 molten salts. Dependance of waveguide parameters on the concentration of AgNO3 is studied by using the White method and the back-scattered SEM spectra, A scheme for fabrication of waveguides with good matching with multlmode febre is proposed.
