Power control based on best equal SIR in heterogeneous wireless networks
Power control is one of the key techniques in wireless networks. In order to improve Pareto efficiency of the algorithm of noncooperative power control game in heterogeneous wireless networks, the idea of the best equal signal interference rate (SIR) of all data terminals is introduced, which make sure all data terminals work on the best equal SIR, and all voice terminals work on the target SIR of the quality of service threshold. A new distributed algorithm based on best equal SIR in heterogeneous wireless network (HBES) is presented. Numerical results suggest that the algorithm can improve the capability of the system, and terminals have higher utility and lower transmit power relatively, making the using of wireless resources more rational and impartial.
