Soft X-ray microscopy is mostly suitable for the high resolution imaging ofbiological specimens in nature or living state. Soft X-ray contact microscopy is thesimplest method of imaging in soft X-ray microscopy and the only one to date to obtainthe resolution near the theoretical limit. In this paper we interpret the principle andmethod of soft X-ray contact microscopy and present some experimental resulte of soft Xray concoct microimaging performed with synchrotron radiation in the National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory of Hefei.
