Theoretical Study on the Single frequency Operation of Diode pumped Intracavity Frequency doubled Lasers
A simple function is derived which gives the maximum pump power for the single frequency operation of an intracavity frequency doubled laser in terms of the cavity geometry and material parameters. This function is used to analyze the single frequency operation of intracavity frequency doubled Nd:YVO 4 and Nd:YAG lasers in detail.
