Research on Optical Soliton Transmission in Common Single Module Optical Fiber System
In the optical soliton transmission systems using common single module optical fibers,the amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) noise and the overflow of dispersion waves are the two main factors that can cause energy and timing jitter of soliton,thus leading to some errors in bit rate of system. In this paper,we study the restraint of the ASE noise with band-limited light filter and the restraint of the dispersion wave with nonlinear gain and their stabilization to the optical soliton transmission systems. Based this the optical soliton transmission system using common single module fibers is designed.
