Temperature dependence of absorption spectra of aggregates in the LB films of tetra-neopentoxy phthalocyanine zine and tetra-nonyl phthalocyanine copper
Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films of tetra-neopentoxy phthaloeyanine zine and tetra-nonyl phthalocyanine copper are prepared, Absorption spectra at different temperature are measured and aggregates of the films are studied. There are a strong peak at 680 nm and a sideband at 620 nm which are corresponding to monomer and dimer respectively in absorption spectra of tetra-neopentoxy phthalocyanine zine films in room temperature. The monomer is transformed irreversibly into the dimer gradually with temperature increasing. The absorption spectra of tetra-nonyl phthalocyanine copper LB films in room temperature show that there are monomer, dimer and J-aggregates which causes a strong peak at 740 nm, in the LB films. The J-aggregates is destroyed at high temperature and restored again when the temperature decreased.
