Optical fiber delay system is widely used in broadband and large dynamic RF optical links, optical transmission of clock and local oscillator signals, RF optical fiber remote and ultra-wideband phased array, and the accurate measurement of optical fiber delay and optical fiber length is the key technology to develop optical fiber delay system. Several optical delay measurement methods are introduced in detail, and the characteristics and application scenarios are compared and analyzed.
