Aiming at the requirements for fast and precise positioning of helmets in the modern warfare, the paper puts forward a new integrated LOS measurement method.Based on the electromagnetic pose measurement, the inertial positioning method is added to realize fastreal-time and high-accuracy head pose measurement. By using the Kalman filtering algorithm as well as the IMU zero bias estimate, the method combines the electromagnetic with the inertial method for integrated LOS measurement. An effective mathematical model is established according to the principle of LOS measurement, and an experimental platform is set up for testing and verification. The results show that the algorithm can effectively complete the high-precision measurement of the helmet posture.
