Resolution of time resolved imaging in tissues is calculated by using point spread function (PSF) with a diffusion model. The effects of temporal resolution of time gate, finite aperture of detector on image resolution are discussed in detail. Image resolution is also calculated as a function of depth of tissues and integration time.
