Design for thermal control system of electronic equipment in space camera
The thermal control system of electronic equipment of a space camera was designed and simulated for resolving the problem of its heat dissipation. The thermal design of electronic components,Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and their chassis were researched with the approaches of conduction and radiation. Then,a simplified heat dissipation model was established and the effect of heat dissipation was calculated by taking an electronic component as an example. According to the space environment, structure characteristics and the thermal control method of the electronic equipment,a thermal analysis model was built up by TMG software to simulate the thermal control system and to calculate the die temperatures of the electronic components. The results show that the range of temperature of PCBs is from 35.6 ℃ to 45.0 ℃, the range of temperature of electronic components are from 45.4 ℃ to 88.5 ℃,and all of them are lower than the standard heat control temperature indexes. These data show that the proposed thermal design scheme of the electronic equipment of space camera is feasible and reasonable.
