According to its′ operation and target chamber′s structure, the X-ray streak camera built synchronously would make a great difference from the traditional one.It will be used not only to measure the time history of the physical process but also to monitor the synchronization among the 48 laser beams on SG-Ⅲ laser facility. The X-ray streak camera is composed of modules, which has a goal of temporal resolution of 10 ps and spatial resolution of 15 lp/mm . Its′ photocathode is sensitive to photon energy ranging from 100 eV to 10 keV. The camera system contains a hermetical air box, streak tube,CCD and all the electrical devices residing in a chamber to maintain themselves working at normal temperature and standard atmospheric pressure. The whole camera system is controlled by an embedded computer, which communicates through main control computer by Ethernet . The camera has a perfect security-lock system to ensure the safety of remote control and meets strict shielded requirement for EMI/EMP,which also has the ability of taking ultraviolet(UV) laser light introduced by optic fiber to build the absolute time fiducial for x-ray emission signal.
