An optical controlled beam-forming network based on wavelength division multiplexing technologyis proposed. The core of the system consists of wavelength-division multiplexers, adjustable attenuators and an opti.cal delay module built of optical reflectors. The time delay between channels is obtained by adjusting the optical pathof the optical reflectors. Two optical delay modules of 16 channels with beam direction of 0° and -45° at 18 GHz arefabricated. Testing results show that the phase accuracy of the modules is ±15° and the amplitude consistency isbetter than ±0.1 dB. The simulation pattern shows a higher beam pointing accuracy.
