Safety Control for UAV Formation Reconfiguration Based on Modified Differential Evolution
Flight formation of multiple UAVs needs to be reconfigured when the environment changes or missions are modified.Based on the analysis of safety problem during reconfigurationthe process is transformed into a series of online optimizations using distributed model predictive control (DMPC).After the setup of cost function with safety restriction taken into considerationa distributed model predictive control algorithm based on modified differential evolution (DEDMPC) is put forward to deal with the optimization problems at each interval.Simulations show the effectiveness of the DEDMPC algorithm for reconfiguration safety control.The algorithm is superior to the standard DE algorithm in terms of performance.
