The intravascular ultrasound(IVUS) plays a vital role in the diagnosis of cardiovascular disease. However, due to the non uniform rotation commonly existing in the mechanical rotational probe, the imaging quality is reduced. Thus in this paper, the driven motor is placed in the front of the probe to avoid long distance transmission. The diameter of the piezoelectric motor is 1 mm, and the length is 10 mm. The motor has the characteristics of stability and low power consumption, and the speed is high under low voltage driving. The scanning imaging results of the probe are also presented in the article, which shows that this probe has certain feasibility.
