Integrated photonics is an emerging research area that is closely related to a wide range of areas including telecommunications, biosensors, and optical signal processing. This Photonics Research workshop aims to review the state of the art in integrated photonics and its key applications. It will highlight recent breakthroughs in integrated photonics from new concepts to devices and practical applications. Invited speakers will share their insights on topological photonics, non-Hermitian photonics, and explore their potential applications in optical sensing, photonic chips, as well as optical computing.
