Call for access to OCTOPUS and ULTRA is now open

Applications for access to the Octopus and Ultra facilities of the Central Laser Facility (CLF) in the Research Complex at Harwell are open from Friday 25th November 2022.

2023-2 Call details

Access period: July 2023 to January 2024

The deadline for applications is 17:00 GMT prompt on Wednesday 18th January 2023

For this call applications are invited for the following modes of access:

Direct Access: Octopus and Ultra

Continuing Programmes: Octopus and Ultra

EU Direct access (Laserlab-Europe): Octopus and Ultra (proposals must be submitted to both the CLF and Laserlab-Europe proposal systems)

Please remember proposals can be edited up to the deadline so please don't leave it until the last day to submit.

Please carefully read all the information in the call document linked below before submitting an application.

Failing to follow the guidelines may result in your proposal being returned without review.
